“When contributing, it is important that I support the mission of the organization. My association with the professors, especially in the math department, made my years at Saint Rose very special. They challenged me to grow and develop as a knowledgeable, caring, responsible person. And as a result, my career as an educator has been a fulfilling one. I am concerned that in the future it will become impossible for many to achieve their goal of experiencing college and earning a degree. Therefore, I remembered Saint Rose in my will to help those students facing this struggle.”

The society is named in honor of our founders, the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Carondelet, who, through their pioneering vision, sought to provide affordable, quality education to all deserving students.

The charitable gifts described on the next page often provide tax-saving benefits to you and your family. A charitable bequest, or provision in a will, is deductible for federal estate-tax purposes, and in general, bequests are not subject to state or estate taxes.
